Postcard Tracker · Test version April 2026

Hi! I'm Dennis and I've built a tool to track my postcards. You're one of the first to try it out — and I'd love to hear what you think. The tool works in the browser on computer and smartphone. This will take about 15–20 minutes.

Step 1 — Before you start

A few questions first

Answer these before opening the tool.

1. How long have you been doing Postcrossing?

2. How many postcards do you send or receive on average per month?

3. Do you also use Postcard United or do Direct Swaps, besides Postcrossing?

4. Do you currently track your postcards somewhere? (spreadsheet, app, paper, not at all)

4b. If you do Direct Swaps — which platforms do you use for that?

5. Do you mainly use a phone or computer for tracking?

6. What device are you using for this test? (iPhone, Android, laptop, etc.)

Step 2 — Test tasks

Try these things

Note what was difficult or didn't work as expected.

Add at least 3 received postcards, including country, city and registration number.
Add at least 3 sent postcards.
Add a photo to at least 1 postcard.
Open the World Map and toggle received and sent cards on and off.
Browse the Statistics page.
Use the filters on the received or sent postcards page.
Edit a postcard and save the changes.
(Optional) Install the app on your phone via "Add to Home Screen".
